About The Soundscape Studio
The Soundscape Studio began with a moment of complete stillness in a Patagonian forest.
While photographing the autumn colours surrounding Laguna Torre and capturing field recordings along the trail, a flock of Patagonian Sierra-finches gathered in the trees around us. Their birdsong was so enchanting that we stood quietly for almost twenty minutes, listening as they moved through the forest. In that moment, we found ourselves thinking the same thing: everyone should be able to experience this.
That afternoon became the foundation of The Soundscape Studio.
Combining Ryan's background in composition and sound design with Lisa's experience as a photojournalist documenting natural wonders around the world, we began exploring how environmental recordings could become more than a memory. Not simply sounds captured in nature, but carefully composed collections that help people slow down, reconnect with the natural world and experience a destination through listening.
Today, every project begins with the same philosophy. We work closely with our clients to understand the experience they want to create, developing original soundscape collections that reflect the destination, the environment and the people they welcome.

Our Approach
Each project is developed through a three-stage process, ensuring every soundscape reflects both the character of a destination and the objectives of the brand it represents.
FIELD RECORDING
The process begins on location. Through careful observation and environmental recording, we capture the sounds that define a place, from natural soundscapes and wildlife to subtle atmospheric details that contribute to a destination's identity.
PRODUCTION
Recordings are then curated, composed and refined in the studio. Drawing on the rhythm, atmosphere and character of the environment, we create bespoke audio experiences designed to support relaxation, wellbeing and a deeper connection to place.
INTEGRATION
Completed collections are delivered in formats tailored to their intended use, whether as in-room soundscape menus, wellness experiences, branded audio assets, guest amenities or destination-inspired inflight content. Where required, projects may also incorporate supporting visual assets to create a cohesive sensory experience.
App Content Creation - We’re very proud to produce exclusive soundscapes for the Feel Better App by Deliciously Ella, a UK wellness platform and brand. Their messaging aligns so well with what we believe; relaxation, wellness, and living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t need to be complicated.
